Title: AVP - Financial Reporting

Financial Control is primarily responsible for ensuring that the firm fulfils its external financial reporting requirements including statutory accounts, capital adequacy reporting, large exposures reporting and statistical reporting. Financial Control's functional responsibilities include:


·The production of monthly, quarterly and annual Finance management and statutory reporting

·The production of regulatory returns to the FSA and other regulatory bodies

·Ensuring the appropriate monitoring control framework is in place

·The setting and monitoring of compliance with accounting, regulatory and balance sheet control policy

·The provision of technical accounting and regulatory policy advice within the bank and reviewing accounting issues with its clients

·The control of all non trade related balance sheet accounts

·The control of trade related accounts in the Structured Capital Markets and Private Equity teams, who functionally sit within Financial Control

Financial Control holds the primary relationship with the firm's auditors and regulators and has overall responsibility for the Finance control framework.

Main Function
Balance Sheet Analysis and Reporting

Main Duties
- Monthly and quarterly analysis of management balance sheet composition and fluctuation analysis.
- Coordination of follow-up on key balance sheet exposure areas

- Presentation of Assets at Risk arising in the monthly Letter of Representation process on the firm's balance sheet

- Coordination with Product Control on key balance sheet variances.

- Assist in preparation of CSE analysis and reporting.

- Work closely with Regulatory team on required disclosures for FINRA and FOCUS reportings.

-Ad Hoc analysis as required by management.

Requirements:

*Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent
*5 to 7 years of industry experience or public accounting
*Strong organizational and analytical skills
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Strong problem solving skills; proactive with resolving issues
*Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
*Excellent EXCEL, PowerPoint Skills
