Our Downtown Houston, TX Pharmaceutical Company is seeking a Bilingual Medical Billing/Collections/Accounts Receivable representative. This is a temp to possible hire opportunity. This position starts out part time (20-25 hours per week), during training and will go full time (40 hours per week) for the right candidate. Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years medical collections experience. - Minimum of 2 years of workers compensation collection experience. - Must have working knowledge of the entire collection process, such as familiarity with all forms, codes and demonstrate effectiveness in dealing with the various workers compensation carriers. - Solid background with Commercial Insurance Companies required. - Exceptional phone etiquette is desired. - Must be able to Multi-task and handle a high volume of accounts. - Bilingual is required (Spanish/English) Responsibilities: - Work with debtors to obtain payments - Negotiate with debtor to secure amounts owed to clients; and, properly follow through with activity on assigned accounts. - Prioritize daily to ensure collections goals and procedures are met. - Complete reviews with the owner to ensure the company's needs are maintained. - Must be team player; possess a great attitude, attention to detail and excellent follow-through.
